Dorothea Lange

Dorothea Lange (1895 – 1965) was an American documentary photographer and photojournalist, best known for her work in the depression years for the Farm Security Administration (FSA). Lange’s photographs put a human face on the troubled years of the Great Depression through her photos of migrant workers and the Dust Bowl. Her work greatly influenced the development of documentary photography.
